ILLNESS/OTHER UPDATES:

 

 

JAMES MANGRUM is in room 561 at MMC with pneumonia and is expected to be moved to Estates of Oak Ridge some time this week.

 

REMEMBER the family of CLARENCE KIRKPATRICK, co-worker of Ann Likens and Eddie Warren, as he passed away last week.

 

REMEMBER the family of JEFFREY SHAW, a student of ORHS, as he died in a car accident last week.

 

SELBA SCOTT needs prayers for her eyesight to improve.

 

MAXINE ALLENON, Ruby Bibbee’s sister-in-law, is in the hospital with a broken hip.

 

CHARLES EARNEST, Lois Hart’s dad, has a problem with his kidneys.  He will be seeing a specialist today.

 

JOHN REEL, Esther Lancaster’s nephew, has made some improvement after his car accident.  He is in constant pain and has much healing to do.  Thank you for your prayers and please continue to pray for him.

 

KEEGAN GUYTON, son of Regena Moore, will be tested for sleep apnea this week. Pray that the results will allow him to have relief with the issues concerning his asthma.

 

Thank you to all who supported Riley Hackworth in his role as the March of Dimes Ambassador Child.  He was very diligent in his duties and raised over $3500 in the March for Babies.  Despite the rain, there was a great turn-out. 

 

WEDDING FEAST for Dennis and LaVonna Henderson will be TONIGH. The ceremony is at 5:30. The feast is at 6pm. Bring a main dish AND a vegetable or a salad. The wedding cake will be the dessert.

 

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY NATIONAL WOMEN BUILD WEEK – THIS Saturday, May 10th – This is a day dedicated to women volunteers. All women come and help build! See David Morgan for information.

 

THE 25TH ANNUAL LADIES INSPIRATION DAY will be at Scarboro Church of Christ on May 17th.  Elaine Conner is the speaker. 

 

AREA-WIDE SINGING at Maryville Church of Christ on Friday, May 23rd at 7pm-9:30pm.

 

COIN CANS for the Tennessee Children’s Home need to be turned into the office by May 31st.

 

TENNESSEE CHILDREN’S HOME will be hosting the "John Chavis 2008 Golf Classic" on June 6.  Contact Loy Molchan 584-0841 for info on playing or sponsoring.

 

Dominican Republic MISSION TRIP PARTICIPANTS need your donations. The updated list is in the front foyer. Items are to be turned in by May 25th.
